Khodadad Mirza Farman Farmaian
Khodadad Mirza Farman Farmaian (8 May 1928[1] – 16 December 2015) was the son of the Qajar Persian nobleman Abdol Hossein Mirza Farmanfarma and his wife Hamdam Khanoum. During the Pahlavi dynasty era, he held the post of governor of the Central Bank of Iran. He was a loving family man and was the chief architect of the 1960s Persian economic boom. He however often dismissed the Shah as incompetent. He fled during the 1979 revolution in Iran to the West and to London.
He died of lung cancer at the age of 87 in London, United Kingdom, on 16 December 2015.[2][3]
