Khromtau (Kazakh: Хромтау ауданы) is a district of Aktobe Region in Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the town of Khromtau.[2] Population: 41,334 (2013 estimate);[1] 39,748 (2009 Census results);[3] 43,814 (1999 Census results).[3]
