Kiami Davael (born August 21, 1986 in Kentucky), sometimes credited as Kiami Davael Daugherty, is an American actress. She is known mostly for her debut role as Lavender in the fantasy film Matilda (1996).

Career

One year following her appearance in Matilda, she appeared as Simone Bien Aime in one episode of The Pretender.

In 1998, Davael had a small role as Keeta in the short-lived television series Conan the Adventurer and guest starred as Lucy in an episode of the television series Promised Land.

She had a small role as Anna in an episode of the situation-comedy television series Moesha in 1999, and since then has had minor roles in various other situation comedies including The Steve Harvey Show, In The House and Grown Ups.

Davael appeared in the comedy film Bruno (2000), directed by Shirley MacLaine, which marked her first appearance in a theatrically released film since her 1996 debut as well as being her last acting role to date.

Post-acting career

Davael attended the University of Kentucky and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
