Kidwelly Town Council (Welsh - Cyngor Tref Cydweli) is the community council serving the town of Kidwelly and the village of Mynydd-y-Garreg in the county of Carmarthenshire, Wales. The council appoints a Mayor, known as the Mayor of Kidwelly and Mynydd Y Garreg, and takes care of local issues, such as tourism. It also manages a large estate.
Kidwelly Town Council consists of 13 Councillors. In January 2014 the residents called a public meeting calling the Council to account over the bad management of the Council's finances and rented landed and municipal estate. 2015 is the 900th celebration of the establishment of the town of Kidwelly.
