Álex Gonzales (born July 30, 1986), better known as King Lil G, formerly Lil G, is an American rapper. He was raised in Inglewood, California. Gonzales is known for helping the community and inspiring the youth and has a lot of story telling in his music. He is of Mexican descent.[1] He turned to the streets shortly after his parents divorced when he was 12. Soon enough, gang activity would catch up with him, landing him in Juvenile Hall and then house arrest. But Gonzalez didn’t let the imprisonment discourage him, instead, he used the time to reflect, finding solace in writing rhymes influenced by hip hop legends such as Tupac, Eazy-E and The Notorious B.I.G.
