Kingsoft GmbH is a computer and video game software distributor, headquartered in Aachen, Germany, and founded in 1983. They were a prominent developer and publisher of Commodore C64 computer games. They were acquired by Electronic Arts on March 8, 1995. It was acquired in order to allow direct distribution of software to the German region.[1]
