Kirkby College (formerly Kirkby Comprehensive School) is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Kirkby-in-Ashfield in the English county of Nottinghamshire.[1]
Previously a foundation school administered by Nottinghamshire County Council, Kirkby College converted to academy status on 1 August 2012. However the school continues to coordinate with Nottinghamshire County Council for admissions. The school also has a specialism in Sports.
Kirkby College offers a sixth form provision in consortium with Ashfield School, Quarrydale Academy and Sutton Community Academy. The consortium offers an extended range of sixth form courses for students over the 4 school sites.[2]
