Klemen Prepelič (born October 20, 1992) is a Slovenian professional basketball player who plays for EWE Baskets Oldenburg of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). He also represents the Slovenian national basketball team internationally. Standing at 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in), he plays at the shooting guard position.
Professional career
On August 23, 2012, he signed a three-year contract with Union Olimpija.[1]
After first season with Union Olimpija Prepelic had signed on July 29, 2013 with Banvit from Bandırma to three-year contact.[2] He left Banvit after one season.[3]
On November 1, 2014, he officially returned to Union Olimpija, signing a contract for the remainder of the season.[4]
On September 14, 2015, Prepelič signed a short-term deal with German club EWE Baskets Oldenburg.[5]
International career
Prepelič debuted for the Slovenian national basketball team at the 2014 World Cup. He also represented Slovenia at the 2015 EuroBasket where they were eliminated by Latvia in eighth finals.[6][7]
