Kodur is a village and a suburb of Malappuram, India. Kodur is famous for its trading in vegetables mainly Ash gourd. The Panchayat ruling party is IUML headed by (Rajula Pelathodi) and Vice President is (C.P Mohammed Shaji). Kodur covers about 19 wards. The kodur panchayat office is located in the ward called Thanikkal. Kodur is part of Malappuram Assembly constituency as well as Malappuram (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]
