Konrad Hummler

Konrad Hummler (born 13 March 1953 in St. Gallen) is a Swiss private banker.

Hummler is Managing Partner of Wegelin & Co. and was President of the board of Neue Zürcher Zeitung from 2011 to 2012, remaining a board member.[1] He worked for what is now UBS until 1989. He became a partner at Wegelin in 1991. He has been a board member of the Swiss Bankers Association and a member of the council of the Swiss National Bank. Under his leadership, Wegelin & Co. grew from 25 to 700 employees until its 2012–2013 restructuring and disestablishment.

Hummler is the son of former Member of Parliament Alfred Hummler. He has a doctorate in law from the University of Zurich and has studied finance at the University of Rochester. He is also a Colonel of the General Staff in the Swiss Army.
