Cameron Findlay (performing under the alias Kontravoid) is a Canadian born electronic musician, drummer, composer and producer from Toronto.[1] Findlay was the founding member, co-producer and co-writer for Canadian synthpop band Parallels,[2] which he left in 2011. His original composition of "Dry Blood" by Parallels [3] was featured in the 2013 Oscar award winning short film Curfew.[4] He has also played drums in Crystal Castles[1] during 2007-2008, as well as in Trust during 2012.

Kontravoid's debut album was released in February 2012 on Toronto label Pretty Pretty Records.[1] The song Native State was released on Minimal Wave Records sister label Cititrax as a 7" single later that year in July.[5] Findlay opened for Crystal Castles on their North American tour in October and November 2012, and is currently working on a new project called VOTIIV.[6]
