Korean Fiber Society
The Korean Fiber Society (Korean: 한국섬유공학회), also known as KFS, is a South Korean society affiliated to the (American) Fiber Society. The head office of the society is located in Seoul. The society has an official journal: Fibers and Polymers, published by Springer on a bimonthly basis.
History
The Korean Fiber Society (also known as KFS) is one of the oldest academic societies in Korea. Established in 1963, its roots date back to 1945. Its membership consists largely of engineers, scientists, and technologists, working in academia, industry, and government. Each year, the society holds spring and fall technical conferences.
