Lewis Roberts, aka Koreless, is an electronic music producer based in Glasgow, Scotland.
History
Although the young Koreless was born Wales he is now very much considered as a key artist within the Glasgwegian Electronic music scene and spends the majority of his time in Glasgow.[1]
Significant records from Koreless have included his 2011 debut 4D EP, which features two tracks 4D & MTI. The EP was released on Pictures Music as a Limited 12” + digital download and was considered to be his most significant introduction to date at that time.[2] July, 2012 saw Koreless’s next notable release, ‘Lost In Tokyo’ this time appear on Jacques Greene and manager Joe Coghill’s imprint, Vase records. ‘Lost In Tokyo’, was first recognized as one of the standout moments on related artist, Jamie XX’s 2011 ‘Essential Mix’ but had not originally been intended for release.[3] SBTRKT collab 2012 also saw Koreless team up with London-based producer and vocalist, Sampha to form collaborative works under the name of ‘Short Stories’. Stort Stories premiered their track, ‘Let It Go’ in a short DJ set for Boiler Room TV in December of that year.[4] The track was then released along with a second track, ‘On The Way’ in January 2013 under the Young Turks label, subsidiary of XL Recordings.[5]
2013 marked the release of Koreless’s Yugen EP. The EP was released on Young Turks, marking his first official release since the 2012 single, 'Lost in Tokyo' on via the Vase imprint. Yūgen [6] The original EP announcement was accompanied by the release of his 'Sun' single.[7]
Yugen EP track, ‘Never’ also gained a feature in Director Jason Reitman’s 2014 film, ‘Men, Women & Children’. Never was featured on the films album soundtrack, released on Warner Brothers Records in October 2014, prior to the film's release.[8][9]

Mogwai Support
January 2014 saw Koreless support well revered Scottish band Mogwai during their special UK dates at the Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Centre in London.
