Korg Minilogue

For the electronic music group, see Minilogue.

The Korg Minilogue is a two VCO, four-voice, polyphonic analog synthesizer from Korg,[1][2] designed by Korg engineer and synthesizer designer Tatsuya Takahashi.[3] It was announced just prior to NAMM 2016,[4] and is priced at $499.99 in the United States,[2] ¥55,000 in Japan[3] and £449 in the United Kingdom.[5]

You may think that 4 voices are not enough for a polyphonic synth, but thanks to the Voice Modes you’ll be able to play the minilogue in 8 different ways:

POLY – operates as a four-voice polyphonic synthesizer DUO – operates as a unison two-voice polyphonic synthesizer UNISON – operates as an all-unison mono synthesizer MONO – operates as a mono synth with sub-oscillator CHORD – produces chords DELAY – voices 2–4 sound consecutively at a delay following voice 1 ARP – an arpeggiator operates with up to four voices SIDE CHAIN – when a note sounds, the volume of the preceding voice is lowered[6]

Its official release was preceded by leaks which caused media speculation,[7] mostly because, unlike previous Korg releases, it was not a reissue of old synths.
