Kornica is a village in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republika Srpska entity's municipality of Šamac.

History

Almost the entire population was forced to flee by the Serbian army at the beginning of the Bosnian War (1992–95). The former village inhabitants are distributed in the majority today over the whole earth, well-known refuge states are: Australia, Germany, Canada, Croatia, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.S.A. So far excluding older citizens returned to Kornica.
