Korucuk is a village in the central district (Sinop) of Sinop Province, Turkey. It is situated only 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) west of the isthmus where the city of Sinop situated. At 42°00′N 35°06′E / 42.000°N 35.100°E it is so close to Sinop that it is about to merge to the city. The population of the village is 2186 [1] as of 2010. A part of Sinop University as well as the bus terminal of Sinop are in Korucuk.
