Kakinada-Kotipalli Railway
Main article: Kotipalli railway station
Kakinada-Kotipalli Railway line lies between Kotipalli and neighboring Kakinada. It was restored in 2004 after 65 years of neglect. It is managed under the Vijayawada division of South Central Railway, Indian Railways.
The railway line was originally laid in 1928 by the British to provide transport access to the Godavari delta area. The line was dismantled in 1940 due to the acute shortage of steel after the outbreak of World War II.
