Kountze Independent School District
Kountze Independent School District is a public school district based in Kountze, Texas (USA).
In addition to Kountze, the district serves the unincorporated community of Honey Island and Wildwood.
John C. Ferguson currently serves as the district's superintendent. The Board of Trustees consists of: Steve Eppes (president), Susie Wilson (vice president), Donna Moody (secretary), Don McDonald, Geary "Sonny" Overstreet Jr., Bendy Lee, and Steve Martinka.
Steve Eppes,Donna Moody, and Steve Martinka are up for re-election in the general election this November.

- Kountze Elementary: Pre-K through 3rd Grade
- Kountze Intermediate: 4th through 6th Grade
- Kountze (or Penland) Middle: 7th and 8th Grade
- Kountze High: 9th through 12th Grade
