Kreis Adelnau

Kreis Adelnau (Polish: Powiat odolanowski) was a county in the southern administrative district of Posen, in the Prussian province of Posen. It presently lies in the southern part of Polish region of Greater Poland Voivodeship. According to the 1900 census, it was the county of the German Reich with the highest proportion of native Polish speakers (90.0%).[1] Around 75% of the population voted for the Polish Party ("Polenpartei") in the 1907 and 1912 national elections.[2]
