Kristen Lynn Johnson (born March 16, 1982) is an American beauty queen who has represented Kentucky at both Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.

Biography

Miss Kentucky Teen USA

Johnson won the Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2000 title in 1999. She competed at Miss Teen USA 2000 and placed 2nd runner-up. She also won the Miss Photogenic award.

Miss Kentucky USA

Johnson won the Miss Kentucky USA 2005 title in late 2004 and competed at Miss USA 2005. She placed 2nd runner-up at this pageant as well. She is one of the few women to place in the top 5 at both Miss Teen USA and Miss USA. Johnson passed on her Miss Kentucky USA title to future Miss USA winner, Tara Conner, in November 2005.

Personal life

After passing on her Miss Kentucky Teen USA crown, Johnson returned to her studies at the University of Kentucky, where she was studying electronic journalism. In 2001, she won the title Miss Model of Kentucky (Louisville, Kentucky) and was first runner-up in the Miss Model of the USA competition (held in California, the winner was Tashina Kastigar, who competed in the 2003 Miss USA pageant). Johnson graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2004 with a B.A. in Journalism.

Johnson was a contestant on Fear Factor in 2005 on the Miss USA episode #5.29.
