Kristopher Van Varenberg (born May 20, 1987) is an American actor who has appeared in such films as The Quest, Derailed and Universal Soldier: Regeneration.

Personal life

Van Varenberg is of Belgian and Puerto Rican descent, the son of martial artist/actor Jean-Claude Van Damme and Gladys Portugues, an ex-bodybuilder and fitness competitor.[1][2] He has a sister, Bianca and a half-brother, Nicholas.[3] He started martial arts training when he was 5 years old with taekwondo. He has also studied Shotokan with his father for five years and has a green belt in that style.

Film career

He made his film debut in an uncredited role as Young Luc Deveraux in the 1992 film Universal Soldier. He later appeared in such films as The Quest and Derailed as Ethan Kristoff (the son of Van Damme's character, Jacques Kristoff). In 2009, he co-starred as Miles in Universal Soldier: Regeneration.[4]
