Kristy Bruce (born 23 August) is a British actress.

Kristy was born in London. She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School. Her acting career began in 1991, when aged 7 she appeared in The Ruth Rendell Mysteries.[1]

Supporting roles in The Vicar of Dibley, The Detectives, Mike and Angelo and the TV adaptation of Danielle Steel's Jewels were followed by regular roles in The BBC Schools Programme Magic Grandad and CBBC's The Demon Headmaster.[1]

Kristy has continued to have acting roles in The Bill in which she starred as four different characters in 1992, 1997, 1999 and in 2003.

Kristy has appeared in Holby City and Green Wing.[1] She also appeared as Kaz in E4's The Last Chancers, which aired in December 2004.[1]

In September 2008, she again appeared in The Bill as drug addict Lizzie Hutchings.[2] In that same month, she also appeared as Jayden in the BBC series Mutual Friends.[3] In 2009, Kristy appeared briefly as Laura in the film The Spell,[4] and could also be seen in My Almost Famous Family.[5]

In November 2011 Kristy appeared in an adaptation of the Henry James novella The Turn of the Screw and in June 2012 in Oscar Wilde's Salome both at the Barons Court Theatre

In March 2013 Kristy will be appearing as Dorothy 'Dottie' Gale in the UK premier of Dorothy in Oz at the Waterloo East Theatre
