Kritika is a monthly political, cultural and literary magazine published in Hungary and based in Budapest.
History and profile
Kritika was launched in 1972.[1] The publisher of the monthly is Népszabadság Zrt. which also publishes left-liberal daily, Népszabadság.[1]
The magazine, headquartered in Budapest, describes itself as a "socio-theoretical and cultural publication".[1] It covers essays on literary, theatre and film analyses, and interviews.[1] In addition, it publishes articles about political and cultural analyses.[2] Erno Balogh is the editor of the monthly.[3]
