Krzysztof Kąkolewski

Krzysztof Kąkolewski (16 March 1930-24 May 2015) was a Polish journalist, writer and screenwriter. He interviewed former Nazi criminals successfully living in Western Germany, e.g. Hans Fleischhacker, Heinz Reinefarth, the subsequent editions of his book Co u pana słychać? were published in 1975,1978,1981. His criminal novel Zbrodniarz, który ukradł zbrodnię was filmed in 1969 [1] and the result was one of the best Polish movies, starring Zygmunt Hübner and Barbara Brylska. Kąkolewski wrote a book about Communist propaganda novel Ashes and Diamonds by Jerzy Andrzejewski. He wrote also a book about Communist anti-Semitism in Kielce region, including his opinion about the Kielce pogrom.[2]
