Kulebaksky District (Russian: Кулеба́кский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the forty-three in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 938.9 square kilometers (362.5 sq mi).[1] Its administrative center is the town of Kulebaki.[1] Population: 52,377 (2010 Census);[4] 17,798(2002 Census);[7] 16,285(1989 Census).[8] The population of Kulebaki accounts for 68.3% of the district's total population.[4]
