Kumkurgan (Uzbek: Qumqoʻrgʻon/Қумқўрғон, Russian: Кумкурган) is a town in Surxondaryo Region, Uzbekistan. It is the administrative center of Kumkurgan District. The town population in 1989 year was 12173 people.[1]
