Kumyk will participate in the Türkvizyon Song Contest for the first time at the Türkvizyon Song Contest 2015 to be held in Istanbul, Turkey. Although they are not a country nor a region they are a Turkic ethnic group who do not have a defined region.
History
On 23 September 2015 it was confirmed that Kumyks would make their official Türkvizyon Song Contest début at the 2015 contest to be held in Istanbul, Turkey.[1]
