Kuvempu Nagar is a residential layout in Mysore, a city in southern India. It is named after the famous Kannada poet Kuppalli Venkatappa Puttappa who wrote under the pseudonym of Kuvempu. All the main streets in this locality are named after his works. In recent years Kuvempunagar has emerged as one of the most sought after residential localities in Mysore.

Rama Krishna Nagar

The Southern and Western parts of Kuvempu Nagar are called Rama Krishna Nagar. This is a posh residential locality surrounding the 'Rama Krishna Circle' which is also known as the Andolan intersection(Andolana Circle).

Vivekananda Nagar

Vivekananda Nagar is another residential locality near Kuvempu Nagar. The epicentre of this residential area is the Vivekananda Circle. During evenings Vivekananda circle becomes very active with vendors selling hot snacks and vegetable merchants displaying their goods. The Vivekananda Circle is a favorite hanging place of senior citizens because it is a good place to spend the evenings watching the world go by. It is also an exercising hub, where people of all ages take a walk on the busy "double roads" and the outer ring road, while shopping for fresh vegetables from farmers. A white coloured marble statue of Swami Vivekananda is also present in the circle.
