The First Federation Cup was one of the competitions in the Kuwaiti 1969-70 season first held. At the beginning it was for senior teams but currently the rules were changed to only allow players under 23 years, but after a few years, and a lack of spectator interest, the competition was opened up again to players of all ages.

The new Cup design revealed in 2014 after Al Qadisiya Kuwait won it 4 times in 4 different years which on April 20 2014 the final match between Al-Arabi SC and Al-salmiya SC
