Kwong Siu-hing
Kwong Siu Hing (born 1929 in Huadu, Guangzhou, Guangdong), is the matriarch of the Kwok family, ranked third richest in Hong Kong.[1] She controls Sun Hung Kai Properties, the largest property developer in Hong Kong. She is the wife of the late Kwok Tak-Seng, the founder of the company, and the mother of Walter, Thomas and Raymond. On 27 May 2008, Kwong replaced her son Walter when he was ousted as chairman of the company,[2] and stepped down from the position in late 2011.[3]
Kwong effectively controls about 41.53% of SHK Properties' shares through a trust fund, so she is the largest shareholder of the company.[4]
