László Menyhárth

László Menyhárth (30 May 1849 – 16 November 1897, Boroma, South Africa) was a Hungarian missionary and botanical collector.

He studied theology and philosophy in Innsbruck, later serving as a gymnasium teacher in Kalocsa. Here he conducted investigations of the local flora. From around 1890, he worked as a missionary in southern Africa,[1] from where he also performed meteorological observations and collected botanical specimens. Plants collected in Africa were sent to Swiss botanist Hans Schinz for further examination.[2]
