Lucielmo Palhano Soares (born 28 November 1988), simply known as Lúcio Maranhão is a Brazilian footballer playing for Buriram United in Thai Premier League as a striker.

Club career

Born in São Luís, Maranhão kicked off his career with Maranhão. After playing for Horizonte in 2011, he signed for heavyweights ASA. Playing for the club between 2012 and 2014, he scored 27 goals in 59 league appearances. However he was loaned out to Vitória and Figueirense in 2013 and 2014 respectively.[1]

Before his loan spell with Figueirense ended, he signed for Thai Premier League club Buriram United for £100,000.[2]
