LGBT history in Belize
Homosexuality in Belize was criminalised in 1888 (when the territory was known as British Honduras).[1] In 2010, the United Belize Advocacy Movement (UNIBAM) and its executive director, Caleb Orosco, jointly filed a case challenging the constitutionality of Belize's anti-homosexual laws.[2]
