Laboratoire d'informatique de Paris 6
The Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris 6, or LIP6, the computer science laboratory of Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6), is a joint research laboratory of UPMC and CNRS, the French national research organization. It was founded in January, 1997, with the fusion of three smaller laboratories: LAFORIA, LITP, and MASI. Employing over 150 permanent professors and research scientists, LIP6 is one of the largest computer science laboratories in France.
