The Iberian emerald lizard or Schreiber's green lizard (Lacerta schreiberi) is a species of lizard in the Lacertidae family. It is found in Portugal and Spain. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and shrublands, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, rivers, and pastureland. It is threatened by habitat loss.

A large species, it measures about 13.5 cm snout-to-vent, 38 cm including the tail. It is mainly insectivorous, though it also preys on small lizards like the iberian wall lizard or large psammodromus.[1]
