Susan Hussey, Baroness Hussey of North Bradley

Susan Hussey, Baroness Hussey of North Bradley, GCVO (born 1 May 1939) is a Lady-in-Waiting to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. [1] She was born Lady Susan Katharine Waldegrave, the fifth and youngest daughter of the 12th Earl Waldegrave and Mary Hermione, Countess Waldegrave . On 25 April 1959 she married Marmaduke Hussey (later Chairman of the Board of Governors of the BBC) and they had two children, James Arthur (born 15 August 1961) and Katharine Elizabeth (born 1 February 1964). She is the sister of the 13th Earl Waldegrave and the life peer and former Conservative Cabinet Minister the Lord Waldegrave of North Hill.

She is known as The Lady Susan Hussey in her capacity as Lady-in-Waiting, and is a godmother of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. Already Dame Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (DCVO), she was appointed Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order (GCVO) in the 2013 Birthday Honours.[2]
