Lady Urmia (Persian: بانوی ارومیه) is an Iranian documentary film by Mohammad Ehsani.[1] It was released in 2012 in Iran, distributed by EhsaniPictures.[1]
Synopsis
The film is a poetic documentary about Lake Urmia, in Iranian Azerbaijan, which is drying up completely. The environmental catastrophe will not only affect Iran, but also neighbors such as Iraq and Turkey. The film is narrated in the voice of the Lake itself, asking for help and trying to gain international reaction.
