Lajm (English: 'News'), is a Kosovar daily newspaper launched in October 2004 by Mabetex, an international company owned by Kosovar businessman, Behgjet Pacolli.
Thanks to its perceived courage, investigative journalism and critical approach, Lajm soon became one of the two most widely read newspapers in Kosovo. Yet, it also soon declined in quality and sales due to bad management, leading to key journalists leaving. In April 2008 it ranked along with "Infopres" and "National" with less than 5 percent readability.
It is a daily tabloid published in broadsheet. Lajm's main competitor is Kosovo’s other tabloid Gazeta Express. A customised version of the newspaper was also published in the Republic of Macedonia
