Lake Catholic High School is located in Mentor, Ohio, an eastern suburb of Cleveland at 6733 Reynolds Rd. (State Route 306). It serves students from Lake, Cuyahoga and Geauga counties, as well as the surrounding areas. The only fully accredited Catholic high school in Lake County, Lake Catholic High School is owned by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. Founded in 1970, its first class graduated in 1974.

Athletics

Athletics include Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Fastpitch Softball, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, Volleyball, Rugby, and Wrestling. Lake Catholic competes in the North Coast League. The league also consists of Hoban, Beaumont, Benedictine, St. Thomas Aquinas, Cleveland Central Catholic, Holy Name, John F. Kennedy, NDCL, Padua, Trinity, VASJ, and Walsh Jesuit. Lake Catholic's central rivalry is with Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin High School.

Performing and Fine Arts

The Lake Catholic performing and fine arts department offers marching band, concert band, swing band, beginning choir, concert choir, and show choir (LC singers). Four concerts are put on through each school year. Along with this is a yearly fall play and spring musical. Shows put on in the past few years include The Game's Afoot, Annie, The Miracle Worker, Urinetown, and Our Town.
