Lake Cataouatche[1] is a 9,280-acre lake located southwest of New Orleans, Louisiana in St. Charles and Jefferson Parishes.[2] Lake Cataouatche is connected to Lake Salvador to the south by Bayou Couba and Bayou Bardeaux.[3]

In 2011 during Bassmaster Classic XLI, Kevin VanDam fished the lake on the final day of the tournament. He caught bass totaling almost 29-pounds enabling him to win the tournament with a three-day total weight of 69 pounds, 11 ounces.[4]
