Lal Singh

Raja Lal Singh, First Anglo-Sikh War in 1846

Raja Lal Singh or Lal Singh was the commander of Sikh forces during the First Anglo-Sikh War.

British battle records (as a part of the standard British propaganda) state that Lal Singh betrayed his Sikh army. During the war, he had continuous correspondence with a British officer, Major Nicholson.[1]
