Lambert C. Mims (April 20, 1930 – November 25, 2008) was a Mobile, Alabama-area community leader and politician who served the city as Public Works Commissioner for 20 years, while having many terms as mayor during his commission service. All of his terms as mayor of Mobile was when the title was co-extensive with the presidency of the City Commission. Mims was the last mayor of the city who was mayor by virtue of holding the presidency of the City Commission. Mims Park in Mobile was named after him.
