The Landstuhl Falcons Baseball Club, is an amateur Baseball-Club from Landstuhl Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The team plays in the Three Rivers Baseball League, Südwesten Basball und Softball Verband (SWBSV) league in the Landesliga division from the parent affiliate Deutscher Baseball und Softball Verband e.V. (DBV). The Falcons began play in the 2015 season.

History

The Landstuhl Falcons Baseball Club were established in 2014 as a recreational baseball team, and became an independent sporting team January 1, 2015. The Club fielded one team for the 2015 season. As of mid-2015, the Falcons claim a total of 46 members.

Team Name

The team's name and mascot are derived from the Peregrine falcon, the fastest diving bird of prey in the animal kingdom and the US Air Force Falcon airplane.
