Langley Warriors

The Langley Warriors are a Box Lacrosse team in their fourth year of membership in the West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association, known as Senior B in British Columbia, Canada.

Early in the teams History they struggled to have a full bench and compete with most teams in the league but with time and a growing minor association they will be a top team in years to come.

The Warriors play their home games on Tuesday nights in Langley at the George Preston Arena.

In the 2012 season the Warriors made some improvements and showed that they could compete with the best teams in the WCSLA but came up short in most of the games finishing with a 3-17 record. In previous years the Warriors were blown out in most games but they showed some fight in 2012 keeping many of the games close and never giving up. In their sixth game of the season (0-5) Langley was able to beat the Valley Rebels who went on to the finals to lose to the Tri City Bandits. On their second trip to Naniamo with only 8 runners they managed to keep it a close 9-9 game up until the final 5 minutes when the Timbermen scored 2 back to back goals to win. There were many other great games in the 2012 season and The Warriors had fun and will be back for more.

In 2013 Langley will look to show the league that they belong and make a run in the playoffs. www.wcsla.ca
