Larrikins is an upcoming 2018 American computer animated musical comedy film directed by and starring Tim Minchin and Margot Robbie, from a script by Harry Cripps. Produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures, it follows the story of an uptight bilby who escapes his sheltered life from his family burrow, he ventures out and finds himself launched on a musical adventure across the mystical Australian outback. It is currently scheduled for a February 16, 2018 release.

Production
The film was first announced in 2013 as an all animal, musical comedy starring Minchin with possibility to write the music for the film, and to direct the film from an original idea from Cripps. [2][3][4] The title itself, Larrikins, is an Australian slang word for mischievous youth.

The film is scheduled to be released on February 16, 2018.
