Lawrence Hesterfer (1878–1943) was a Major League Baseball pitcher who played in 1901 with the New York Giants.
He is the only player known to have hit into a triple play in his first major league at bat. The triple play was a line drive to the shortstop, Honus Wagner, who stepped on second base and threw to first.
