Lars Göran Peter Adaktusson, (born 6 August 1955) is a Swedish journalist, television news anchor and politician of the Christian Democrats.[1] He was elected to the European Parliament in the 2014 European Parliament elections in Sweden.[2][3]

He has previously worked as a reporter for the SVT news show Aktuellt where he has been stationed in Vienna, Washington, and the Middle East over the years.[4]
