Last of the Comanches Technicolor (released in the UK as The Sabre and the Arrow) is a 1953 American Western film directed by André de Toth and starring Broderick Crawford and Barbara Hale.^[1] The film is a remake of the 1943 World War II film Sahara starring Humprey Bogart.^[2] Actor Lloyd Bridges appeared in both films.

Plot

With Sgt. Matt Trainor, (Broderick Crawford) as its Leading Commander, what's left of a massacred cavalry troop from the isolated frontier town Dry Buttes, along with a ragtag group of stagecoach passengers, fight for survival against fierce Comanches led by Black Cloud, (John War Eagle) at a desert ruin.
