Late modern period, the late part of the modern period, may ambiguously refer to:

History

• In conservative historiography, a specific transformational period of modern history following the 17th century (Great Divergence)
• The period of modernity from 1900 to present in the historical periodization scheme of philosopher Marshall Berman

Philosophy and art

• Late modernism, a period in art history (post-World War II to present)
• Late, Liquid, or High modernity, defined by certain sociologists as the most recent phase of modernity (late 20th century to present)
