Latitude 53 (gallery)
Latitude 53 is an art gallery in Edmonton, Alberta.[1] It operates gallery spaces for art exhibitions and runs artistic programs for local artists.[2] The gallery opened in October 1973, founded by Harry Savage and Sylvain Voyer, who developed the idea in 1971. Between 1973 and 1977 the gallery was commercially run, before it became a not-for-profit run by local artists. In 1982 the gallery merged with the Edmonton Society of Photography.[3][4]
